Tell us about your power needs and location

The more details you provide, the better we can understand your energy needs and recommend the right solar solution. A photo of your distribution board, your location, and a list of the appliances you want to power will help us get started quickly.

Frequently asked

Questions we get before people hire us

Do you sell panels, inverters or batteries?

No. We take no commission, no referral fee and no stock. That is the point of hiring us instead of asking a vendor to size your system.

Can I use my own installer?

Yes, and most clients do. The design pack is written so any competent installer can build from it. If you do not have one, we can suggest people we have worked with, with no arrangement between us and them.

Do you need to visit my house?

Usually not. Photos, meter readings and an appliance list cover most residential and small business jobs. For larger commercial sites a visit sometimes makes sense and we will tell you if it does.

Where in Nigeria do you work?

Anywhere. The work is remote first, so distance does not change the fee. We are based in Karu, Abuja if you want to come in.

How long does a design take?

Two to three working days from the point where we have your load information. Rushed jobs are possible, ask us.

What if my installer disagrees with the design?

Good, that is a useful conversation. Put us on a call with them. Sometimes they know something about the site that we do not, and the design changes. Sometimes they want to fit what they have in stock, and you will be able to tell the difference.

Can you design a grid tied system that exports?

We design grid tied and hybrid systems. Export depends on your DisCo and your meter, and in most of Nigeria it is not worth planning around yet. We will tell you honestly what your connection allows.

My system is already installed and it is not working. Can you help?

Yes. Send inverter logs or screen photos, wiring photos and the original quote. Most faults we see are undersized batteries, wrong inverter settings or DC cabling that was never calculated.
